This shows the balanced warmth of the 2020 growing season and the generous-but-fresh style of the famous Panzano region: a moderately deep, garnet hue; a richly vinous perfume of ripe dark cherry and red plum cordial, balsam accents and fresh herbal hints; well-meshed warm, earthy clay accents; juicy, full-bodied, but expansive and complex in the mouth. Finely-woven large-grained tannins and some stony firmness in the flavors pulls the generous fruit back together into the finish. Years of life left on this one, but already a delight with a little time in the glass.
