BURGHOUND 92-94 POINTS - "From 35+ year old vines in Charmes Dessus. There is a whiff of phenolic character lurking in the background of the layered aromas of white peach, pear and plenty of floral influence, especially carnation and acacia blossom. As one might reasonably expect, the mouthfeel of the sleek medium weight flavors is notably finer if substantially less muscular and powerful, all wrapped in a lightly stony and bright finish that is also very compact. This youthfully austere wine is an old school Charmes in that it's a wine to buy and forget you own it for most of the next decade. Warmly recommended."
