Grapes come from organic vines aged 45-70 years. 24-hour maceration, then pressed and left to ferment slowly in neutral barrel for 7 months, before aging for a further 8 months on lees. No sulfur is added at any stage.
Ripe and round with rich tropical fruit and deep, musky spice tones, this stunning wine has impeccable balance and mineral focus, sharing more in common with a richly textured Chenin Blanc than the typical Loire Sauvignon Blanc.
