This sake is made with a Kiwi fruit yeast, by the team at Shirataki Brewing Company. It has a delicious kiwi-like fragrance, and tastes sweet and slightly tangy, with vivid notes of kiwi, green grape, and lemon-lime. It's pleasantly sweet, and light on its feet. This sake is medium-bodied with good acidity, balanced by its sweet and refreshing nature. The label's image of the kiwi fruit and the kiwi, New Zealand's national bird, is oh-so-cute. But it is great sake all on it's own. An added bonus, this sake comes in at a lower alcohol of 8.5% ABV. We are obsessed!
