JAMESON GOLD RESERVE WHISKEY 750ML IRISH WHISKEY

Jameson Gold Reserve is a superbly crafted whiskey which actually is an ingenious blend of three well-aged whiskeys of advanced years; it was a fortuitous choice to use whiskey matured in virgin oak barrels coupled with whiskey aged in bourbon barrels and sherry casks to hold the complex variations that can occur in a checked equilibrium that delivers fantastic balance to the intricate aromas and flavors that each barrel produces. The nose leads with roasted nuts, wood spice, honey, pot still grains, stewed fruits, toffee and vanilla. The taste is all of the aromas in a creamy, sweet mouthfeel that binds together forming a multitude of sapid demonstrations and vibrant dimension. The finish is lengthy, restating many flavors and aromas to fade with pleasant spice. This is excellent whiskey that is a joy to drink neat or even with an ice cube...but definitely with time to enjoy.
