JACQUES SAUMAIZE 2023 SAINT VERAN EN CRECHES

"En Crèches" is the selection of the youngest vines from the plot of the same name. This cuvée is vinified and aged in stainless steel vats by Domaine Jacques Saumaize. It expresses itself with a generous and ample nose. On pear, apple, white flowers (honeysuckle), all with sweet honeyed notes. Here is one who is beguiling and full of charm! The palate, at first glance round and enveloping, is toned thanks to the terroir which brings a mineral framework to the wine. This structure lasts until the finish accompanied by a very nice density enhanced by spicy aromas.
