The Hearach is the first single malt ever released by the Isle of Harris Distillery, matured in a marriage of bourbon, sherry, and refills casks and bottled at 46% ABV, non chill-filtered with natural colour. Named after the Gaelic word for a Harris person, it carries the distillery's maritime Hebridean character: soft island peat beneath sweet floral and orchard-fruit notes, with a smooth, lingering finish. Each batch is small and individually numbered — batch stats may vary, so check the bottle for your release.
