WINEMAKER NOTES - "The 2023 Gen Red is composed of 52% Valdiguié, 22% Merlot, 13% Syrah, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petit Verdot. The Valdiguié from French Camp located in the Paso Robles Highlands District. The Bordeaux varietals are primarily from Ranch Sisquoc located in the most easterly section of the Santa Maria Valley AVA. The different varietals are produced separately. We employ long cool fermentations with frequent punch downs and a year’s worth of barrel age, mostly in older French oak."
