Part of High N' Wicked's Singular Limited Release range, The Judge spent its first 14 years as a Tennessee straight bourbon whiskey before being finished in casks that previously held Hungarian Tokaji wine, resulting in a truly rare and distinct whiskey. Tokaji, a highly prized dessert wine characterized by high natural acidity and sweetness derived entirely from botrytis, or "noble rot," is rated by the number of "puttonyos" (buckets) of noble-rot grapes in each batch, ranging from 1-6. The barrels The Judge was aged in were rated 5-6 puttonyos.
