WINE SPECTATOR 94 POINTS-"Expressive oyster shell, white truffle and Frangelico liqueur notes herald this finely knit version, layered with hints of dried apricot, singed orange peel and roasted hazelnut. Shows the rich character of an aging Champagne, yet the firm frame is bright and persistent, allowing this to age gracefully. Drink now through 2025. 250 cases imported."
JOHN GILMAN 94 POINTS-"I was very happy to have a chance to cross paths again with the 2000 vintage of Cuvée des Enchanteleurs, as last year’s bottle seemed atypically open and generous when I tasted it and I wondered if this was the style of this vintage or my particular bottle was a bit easy-going structurally. 2000 is of course a bit more forward of a vintage in any case, but this most recent bottle of Enchanteleurs has a bit more vibrancy and cut on the backend than last year’s. The bouquet is deep, complex and very classy, wafting from the glass in a blend of apple, tangerine, beautifully complex soil tones, brioche, fresh almond, a touch of caraway seed and a lovely floral topnote that is most strikingly redolent of lavender. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, crisp and complex, with a superb core, very refined mousse, impeccably focus and balance and a very long, classy finish. This is still a more forward vintage than the last several iterations of Cuvée des Enchanteleurs, but this bottle is also showing more vibrancy than last year’s. 2016- 2035."
