Kyrios — "Guardian of the Codes" in Greek — is the third edition of Hennessy's V.S.O.P Privilege Collection, launched worldwide in 2012. The carafe is the creation of renowned automobile designer Chris Bangle, and was the first variation of the new Hennessy VSOP bottle design. Dressed in matte carbon black with copper grape decorations symbolizing the House's ancestral savoir-faire and the nobility of the vineyards, it features the very first 3D label ever used on a spirit bottle, proudly bearing the 1817 monogram. By night, the flanking silhouette lines shine in bright copper under blacklight — forged with class, exclusivity, and desirability in mind.
Inside is the exact same celebrated blend originally commissioned by the Prince of Wales (later King George IV) in 1817: a harmonious cognac in which maturity combines with vigor.
Eye: Bright amber.
Nose: Aromas of clove, vanilla, and cinnamon, joined by delicate roasted notes resulting from maturation in oak barrels.
Palate: The natural balance of strength and smoothness creates a harmonious blend, softened by a suggestion of fresh grape character.
Finish: Strikingly persistent and refined.
ABV: 40% (80 Proof)
