Over the past few years, bartenders have been asking me for a better coffee liqueur with character, balance and more than 25% ABV. Trey Malone from Northshore Specialty Coffee in Covington, LA and Jackson, MS approached me about using coffee from his supplier, Thrive Farmers a passionate group of entrepeneurs dedicated to improving the lives of the people who produce coffee around the world. With a shared passion in sustainability I am thrilled to bring transparency and quality to my newest liqueur. Café Carib is cold-brewed to capture the fullest flavor of the rich coffee then blended with Jamaican rum from Worthy Park Estate and just enough sugar to qualify as a liqueur and to balance the rich rum and coffee flavors.
