Fritz's Riesling is clean, light and refreshing with juicy lemon & lime flavors. It is "feinherb", or "off-dry," (mostly dry with a whisper of sweetness). Named in honor of Johannes' father, world-renowned winemaker Fritz Hasselbach of the Gunderloch winery. It hails from a small, special corner of Rheinhessen called the Roter Hang, or "red hill," named for its vivid red slate soil, it's also a Grand Cru site. A superb value. Enjoy this with salads, cheeses, Asian dishes, or spicy fried chicken.
