Winemaker Notes:
“A blanc de noirs composed of Pinot Noir and Meunier grapes, partly aged in wooden barrels. The result is a characterful, inviting champagne, with aromas of juicy pome fruit, yellow cherries, wild berries and citrus fruits, surrounded by fine-tart chalk tones and spicy, delicately smoky nut notes. Or as Guillaume writes on the back label: 'whispered poetry using a simple and mature rhythm."

WINE ADVOCATE 91 POINTS - "A blend of equal parts Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, Guillaume Sergent’s NV Blanc de Noirs Bossa Nova (2022) is crafted exclusively from the 2022 vintage and was disgorged à la volée for tasting in February 2025. Sourced from three parcels in Vrigny, it draws its character from Le Grand Chemin, a sandy mid-slope facing northeast; Les Chappes, a chalky west-facing site; and Les Prières, where clay, chalk and sand intermingle. Unfurling from the glass with aromas of pear, peach and citrus zest, this Champagne is full-bodied, vinous and incisive. A generous core of fruit is underpinned by lively acidity, culminating in a long, chalky finish. It was vinified in 228-liter barrels."
