A blend of 25% Alicante Bouschet, 25% Tinta Amarela, 25% Touriga Nacional, and 25% Touriga Franca. Graham’s 10 Year Old Tawny Port is made from a selection of wines that age in oak barrels for an average of ten years. During this time, oxidative aging changes the wine, which loses its intense ruby colour and becomes more tawny or amber (hence the name tawny). This Graham’s 10 Year Old Tawny Port reveals the perfect balance between the maturity of the oldest wines and the vitality of the younger wines, with aromas of walnuts, figs and honey on the nose. On the palate it is flavorful and luscious with hints of ripe fruits and a long and persistent finish.
WINE SPECTATOR 92 POINTS - "Date, fig and mulled plum fruit flavors form this broad and juicy core. Cinnamon, black tea and hazelnut notes fill in the background. Shows some power, with the cut and drive for balance. Drink now. 30,000 cases made, 9,000 cases imported." James Molesworth. WS.
