ORGANICALLY FARMED
93% Sangiovese, 7% Merlot
DECANTER 94 POINTS - "The Seta Ferrari Corbelli family has owned this 21-hectare winery since the mid-20th century. An ample and well-profiled nose with hints of violets, morello cherries, ripe plums, small red fruits and spices. Captivating and sleek dynamics, with intense and dense substance, and fine tannins that give depth without sacrificing the vivacity of a persistent sip." - Alessandra Piubello Drink through 2031.
18 months in 50 hL French and Slavonian oak casks (80%), and in 5 hL French oak second, third and fourth-fill tonneaux (20%).
This comes from one of the oldest wineries in the Montepulciano region. Crunchy red fruits and fine tannins give way to a long finish with woody herbs and subtle minerality. Though it draws on a rich winemaking tradition, the Gracciano Estate is also forward thinking – since 2018, all of its wines have been certified organic.
