George Remus Repeal Reserve Series V Straight Bourbon is a blend of superior whiskies as part of a series of exceptional quaffable iterations commemorating the repeal of Prohibition in 1933. Created by the highly-acclaimed MGP Distillery, this wonderfully crafted NAS bourbon is bottled at 50% ABV and is composed of an expertly married mash bill, specifically; 54% aged bourbon from 2008 derived from 36% rye, 13% aged bourbon from 2008 derived from 21% rye, 19% aged bourbon from 2006 derived from 21% rye, 5% aged 2006 bourbon derived from 36% rye, and finally, 9% aged bourbon from 2005 derived from 21% rye. The complexity of such a mash bill offers aromatic notes of sweet summer strawberries and oak over a palate of thick caramel, figs, and ginger. Repeal Reserve Series V was launched in 2021 and is truly a magnificent bourbon with a finish lavished in classic notes of smoked tobacco, oak, and rich vintage leather.
