Flowers Winery is one of the first pioneers on the Sonoma Coast and was among the first to cultivate grapes on the steep slopes overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The cool coastal climate and high elevation of these exceptional vineyards yield Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of remarkable complexity and elegance. From the initial plantings more than 30 years ago, Flowers Vineyards & Winery has been inspired and defined by the Sonoma Coast. Sometimes referred to as the "far" Sonoma Coast, their rugged, windswept vineyards represent extreme viticulture in the pursuit of crafting wines representative of time and place. Their Camp Meeting Ridge is Flowers' flagship estate vineyard and situated a mere two miles from the ocean at nearly 1,500 feet. Its fruit combines elements of chilly coastal weather and mountain character. Perched on a knoll above the fog line, its carefully contoured vine rows bask in sunshine throughout the growing season while the ambient temperatures remain cool. An ideal combination for complex grapes.

JEB DUNNUCK 93 POINTS - "A bright yellow color, the 2024 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast is elegant and pretty, with notes of white flowers, candied apples, preserved lemon-lime citrus, melon, and delicate vanilla. Coming from a grower program, it is refreshing and finely balanced. Chantal likes Wente for the phenolic structure, and 80% is fermented in barrel. She feels the 2024 Chardonnays have more longevity here. Medium to full-bodied, this wine has appealing richness, refreshing acidity, and excellent balance without feeling weighty. Drink over the coming 10 years. Drink 2026-2036."

WINE SPECTATOR 93 POINTS - "Lemon sorbet and orange sherbet, plus details of lemongrass, lemon verbena, and both fresh and dried ginger notes, show touches of saline and white tea on the long and detailed finish, with plenty of intensity and sleek, mouthwatering acidity that give this precision. Drink now through 2036. 23,500 cases made."

ANTONIO GALLONI 91 POINTS - "The 2024 Chardonnay (Sonoma Coast) is a terrific introduction to the range. Apricot, white flowers, mint, white pepper and tangerine oil are nicely pushed forward. The warmer season yielded an especially forward, open-knit Chardonnay. It's a style that works quite well at this level."
