BURGHOUND 91 - 93 POINTS - "Note: from Fuissé fruit. Here too secondary fermentation aromas dominate the nose. More interesting are the beautifully texture and energetic if not particularly dense medium-bodied flavors that display focused power on the more evidently mineral-driven, bone-dry and youthfully austere finale. This is also exceptionally promising.*Burghound Sweet Spot Outstanding!*"
TIM ATKIN 93 POINTS - "This comes from higher altitude vines set in stonier soils, giving it more aromatic dimension. Linden leaf tea, warm pancake and spiced pear compote create a come-hither nose. The palate remains textured with a dense fruit core and crunchy, tugging breadth climbing through the finish. Clément likes to think that Jeanne would rate this an "Hors Classe" today."
VINOUS 92 POINTS - "The 2023 Pouilly-Fuissé Les Perrières 1er Cru comes from marl soils higher up the slope than the Clos des Prouges with a lot of strong detritus. There is a very subtle reduction at play, quite tensile with a discrete marine influence. The palate is taut and fresh, quite edgy and stricter than the Clos de Jeanne, verging on shrill and citric towards the finish. Therefore I would afford this a couple of years in bottle."
