A revival of the Ferrand Classic 3 Star Cognac, made from Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie and created in collaboration with cocktail historian David Wondrich. Distilled in a traditional Alambic Charentais and aged in Limousin oak barrels, this cognac revives the higher-proof, lively style that formed the foundation of cocktails in the pre-phylloxera era. Ripe, juicy grapes on the nose complemented by meadow flowers, acacia blossom, and a bracing hint of cedar. Warm palate with fruity flavors, very clean. Finish of honey and spices.
