It's another elegant, complex, medium to full-bodied effort from Erickson that has a deep purple hue, loads of floral, incense, tobacco, and spicy nuances, fine tannins, and a great core of red and black fruits. It picks up some classic Oakville iron and darker nuances with air and is perfect for enjoying over the coming 15 years."

There's a lovely sense of balance to this and the other Favia Erickson wines, combining structure and opulence without being too rigid or too soft. This one finishes really long, with hints of mocha and dark chocolate."
