Faust is owned by the Huneeus family, who also owns Quintessa, Flowers, and Leviathan. Faust was originally designed to be the second label for Quintessa’s Rutherford property, but the Huneeus family eventually found exquisite property in the Coombsville area east of Napa proper, and now it is that vineyard in Coombsville that makes up the majority of the wine.

JEB DUNNUCK 90 POINTS - "Spiced (mostly red) fruits, flowers, and baking spice notes define the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon, a medium-bodied, very soft, supple, and front end-loaded effort with a nicely balanced, charming mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a good finish. Based on 86% Cabernet Sauvignon complemented with Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc, it was aged 20 months in French oak, 25% new. It's upfront and ready to go. Drink 2025-2030."

ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 90 POINTS - "Faust's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon features attractive aromas of dried herbs, pencil shavings, black cherries and cassis. It's medium to full-bodied and rather easy-drinking, not overly concentrated or rich but with enough texture to make it a steakhouse staple."
