Seven Springs Vineyard was planted in 1984 by Al MacDonald on an east-facing slope, in the iron-rich and rocky, volcanic soils of the Eola-Amity Hills. Al planted what would become one of Oregon's most recognized vineyards who sold fruit to many benchmark Oregon producers. The vineyard's position opposite of the windy Van Duzer Corridor mitigates hot, sunny afternoons in the Willamette Valley with cool winds from the Pacific. As valley temperatures increase throughout the day, warm air rises, replaced by cooling winds flooding in from the Pacific through the Van Duzer gap and across the vineyard providing extended hang time at harvest. The vineyard has always been dry farmed, it's certified LIVE and was converted to biodynamic viticulture in 2007.

At the helm of Seven Springs is Rajat Parr, world renowned wine sommelier and Sashi Moorman, known for his passion for winemaking and viticulture. Together, these two bring an insurmountable amount of knowledge leading Seven Springs into its 4th decade producing outstanding wines at an affordable price point!

JEB DUNNUCK 95 POINTS - "A bright red color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Seven Springs has notes of wild raspberries, fresh flowers, sweet tea leaf, orange citrus, and rocky earth. The palate is snappy and fresh with a medium-bodied frame. It has fine tannins and an even and floating feel throughout the finish. Drink 2026-2040."

ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 93+ POINTS - "The 2022 Pinot Noir Seven Springs Vineyard has alluring aromas of pomegranate, blueberry, forest floor and bitters. The medium-bodied palate pairs concentrated, spicy flavors with silky tannins and vibrant acidity, and it has a long, citrusy finish. It opens dramatically with air and will benefit from a few years in the cellar."

ANTONIO GALLONI'S VINOUS MEDIA 93 POINTS - "The 2022 Pinot Noir Seven Springs blossoms in the glass as depths of wild strawberry, raspberry, lavender and rose petals form a beautifully perfumed bouquet. It's seductively soft and supple with vividly ripe red fruits and juicy acidity, underscored by a tactile mineral tinge. The 2022 finishes remarkably fresh and lifted with a gentle tug of fine tannin, leaving the palate completely refreshed. Spellbinding."

WINE SPECTATOR 93 POINTS - "Steely and precise, with vibrant raspberry and pomegranate flavors that reveal accents of stony mineral, dusky spices and black tea as this gathers verve and tension toward refined tannins. Drink now through 2032."
