"One of the most sublime tempranillo wines from Bodegas Emilio Moro. Named in honour of the Pago de Sanchomartín, a vineyard located in Pesquera de Duero, which was planted in 1944. It is a wine with a great varietal vocation but with the personality of the limestone soils. It stands out for being a powerful, elegant and persistent wine...

Malleolus de Sanchomartín comes from a plot located at a high altitude, where we find clay-loam soils, with a notable presence of limestone. "

WINE SPECTATOR 95 POINTS - "There's a pleasing vibrancy to this rich and powerful red, with a core of ripe, bright red currant, raspberry and pomegranate seed flavors interwoven with accents of eucalyptus, dried thyme and sage, fig cake and mocha. The firm tannins are dense but well-meshed and lightly chalky on the savory finish of tobacco and loamy earth notes. Best from 2025 through 2035. 290 cases made, 110 cases imported."
