There's pure fruit flavors reminiscent of pear and apple with a subtle background to support the vanilla oak, which allows the fruit to shine and support rather than detract. It is a blend of the coastal vineyard (69%), with the remainder grown half an hour's drive inland. The keys to this are focus and precision, but it has satisfying density and balance.
