Comprised of fruit mostly from Radian, Bentrock, Sanford and Benedict, and Fiddlestix, this 2022 has begun drinking very well right out of the gate. The wine shows complex red and blue fruits, a touch of minerals, some baking spices, fresh herbs and forest floor in a medium bodied frame and with silky texture. Great natural acidity provides lift and length. We expect a minimum of 8-10 years of aging potential.

JEB DUNNUCK 92 POINTS - "Moving to the Pinot Noirs, the 2022 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills comes from a mix of sites (mostly Fiddlestix, radian, and Sanford & Benedict) and saw 15 months in neutral oak. Its medium ruby hue is followed by a complex, medium-bodied 2022 that has some gamey, iodine-like character in its savory red fruits, leafy herb, bay leaf, and forest, earthy nuances. I love its overall balance, and it has terrific complexity and a satisfying, lively, upfront style that will drink nicely through 2032."

WINE SPECTATOR 92 POINTS - "This mixes in gently mulled black cherry and raspberry fruit, along with touches of anise, warm earth and red tea. Light mineral and shiso leaf hints underscore the gentle finish. Drink now through 2029. 800 cases made."
