Dos Artes Tequila Extra Añejo Reserva Especial 36
Extra Añejo Tequila | 40% ABV (80 Proof) | 1 Liter | Highlands (Arandas, Jalisco) | 100% Blue Agave | Minimum 36 Months Aged
Process & Profile
Dos Artes Tequila Extra Añejo Reserva Especial 36 is a premium, oak-forward extra añejo made in the Highlands of Jalisco (Arandas) from 100% blue agave. This release returned after time off the market and comes back with a bold, refined profile built around extended barrel aging and deep agave richness.
Production details lean traditional where it matters while staying precise in execution: the agave is cooked in an autoclave, extracted via roll mill, fermented with a hybrid approach noted for a “classical music effect,” then double distilled in an alambique (pot still). The defining piece is the aging: a minimum of 36 months in new French and American oak barrels that are owned and curated exclusively by Dos Artes, giving full control over maturation and flavor development. The result is a velvety, dessert-leaning extra añejo that still keeps agave nectar front and center.
