A mere two barrels were produced from 20 year old, biodynamically farmed vines, grown on sandstone 1.2 miles from the sea. Some of the most perfect looking Syrah I’ve ever seen! This living wine was racked once after natural malolactic fermentation, lightly sulfured, and bottled unfined and unfiltered on August 16th. Reddish rim and purple core, mid-weight swirl, guava, blueberry, peppercorns, charcuterie, and sage aromatics. Blackberry and Asian 5 spice flavors, with refreshing natural acidity and a firm finale. Very limited (45 cases) and age worthy.
