Death's Door is all about thinking locally. On Washington Island this distillery (which is a converted old hotel) uses only sustainable, organic, locally grown grains for making their spirits. All natural and all delicious made with 60% winter wheat and 40% malted barley equalling 100% good! The nose is sweetish with a great bouquet of grains. The mouth-feel is slightly creamy with flavors of sumptuous, rich grains and a hint of toasty cocoa. The is finish clean, soft and short. This is excellent vodka have it on the rock, with a twist or in a spirit forward cocktail.
