Pinot Noir and Gamay lovers will find a lot to like here, with its medium-light mouthfeel that dances on the palate with ripe, juicy red berries (red currant cordial, cherry) brought to earth by a subtle shading of sweetly fragrant tobacco, pepper and stony earth. Finishes cleanly, with an elegant resonance of those aromatic notes that makes you want to finish the bottle. Try this with fresher cheeses, fresh springtime pastas and even meatier fish dishes (trout, salmon, tuna). 12.5% abv. Fermented and aged 10 months in 4,000L oak barrels.
