Comte Senard has a rare origin story for a Burgundy producer. Jules Senard established the winery in 1857 in conjunction with creating the monopole Corton-Clos des Meix. Comte Senard has steered toward more environmentally sustainable practices like eliminating herbicides and pesticides and using biosphere-beneficial cover crops. The only Aloxe-Corton made from 100% “Pinot Beurot” (Pinot Gris), this wine is a beautiful gold color with green reflections; it offers a long, harmonious aromatic and tasting experience with mineral tones and beautiful finesse.
