This edition of "Purete de Silex" Cremant is a fascinating blend of 40% Pineau d'Aunis, 20% Pinot Noir, 20% Grolleau Gris, and 20% Groslot Noir. Only the gentle first press is selected for this bubbly, and only after a two-year refinement period, is it ready to reveal its full potential. This pale, copper hued bubbly offers up intriguing aroma of rose petals, bramble and white pepper. In the mouth one finds cream tinged impressions of yellow apples, green melons, lemon custard, and spicy mineral infections. Fascinating stuff!
