Deep ruby/plum hued with gorgeous notes of ripe black fruits, scorched earth, chocolate, and graphite, it hits the palate with a powerful, full-bodied mouthfeel, ripe, integrated, beautifully polished tannins, and a one heck of a great finish. I love it today (with a decant) yet it has another 15-20 years of prime drinking, and a gradual decline thereafter."
