This champagne is made from a 100% Chardonnay, from the most beautiful Grand Cru plots of Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. It is based on a perpetual blending technique, also called Soléra, which consists of enriching each vintage with wines from previous years, thus bringing a unique depth and complexity. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled vats, guaranteeing a perfect balance between freshness and roundness. Finally, its prolonged ageing on lees in vaulted cellars gives it a beautiful texture and a refined effervescence.
A racy and expressive nose, combining notes of delicate pear and a subtle oxidative touch. It evolves on fresh and refined aromas of citrus fruits such as grapefruit, accompanied by white flowers and a hint of mint.
The attack is frank and lively, carried by a marked minerality that gives great depth. The palate reveals an aromatic complexity, where notes of dried fruit mingle bringing roundness and length. The whole is structured, precise and of a beautiful persistence.
