"Château Pesquie is one of the great estates of the Ventoux"- Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate

We just brought in an incredible value that is a great choice as a daily drinker. We were able to try the new vintage on this deeply fruited Rhone blend from Chateau Pesquie and loved it! The Terrasses is incredibly satisfying with its array of perfectly ripened fruit and a freshness that has us asking for more. This is yet another jewel from importer, Eric Solomon who specializes in sourcing amazing wines at reasonable prices.

Jeb Dunnuck has written, "I continue to sing the praises of Château Pesquie, which is one of the leading estates in the Ventoux region and is run by the talented brothers, Alexandre and Frederic Chaudiere. Don't let the prices fool you, these wines are the real deal."

Jeb Dunnuck gave this mouth filling 60/40 blend of Grenache and Syrah 92 Points noting its "juicy, pure, medium-bodied style" and calling Terrasses, "wonderfully pure" with "a great finish."

James Suckling gave Chateau Pesquie Terrasses a score of 92 Points, calling it "A layered, textured and well-composed red."

As with most of the Southern Rhone, this area is bathed in intense sunshine which allows the grapes to achieve optimal ripeness. This wine demonstrates the freshness and vibrancy that Ventoux is capable of achieving due to its elevation and its unique microclimate provided by the nearby mountain. The result is a supple and rounded style that's ready to drink and so easy to like.

Chateau Pesquie's Terrasses is a delicious wine and an amazing value. Buy this with confidence as an easygoing and crowd-pleasing daily drinker to share with family and friends.

JEB DUNNUCK 92 POINTS - "A blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, the 2023 Ventoux Terrasses has a juicy, pure, medium-bodied style that just screams Ventoux with its vibrant, mineral-laced style. Red and black berries, peppery garrigue, crushed stone, and spring flower notes all shine here, and it's medium-bodied, wonderfully pure, has integrated acidity, and a great finish."

JAMES SUCKLING 92 POINTS - "A layered, textured and well-composed red, showing spiced cherries, wafers and warm earth on the nose. Medium-bodied with chalky tannins. Spicy and vivid with a long, savory finish. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink or hold."
