Chopped ancho chili peppers, seeds included, are infused for several days into Boyd & Blair Silver Rum at 105 proof, then filtered and brought down to 80 proof with simple syrup — just enough molasses-like sweetness to balance the heat.
Appearance: Reddish brown.
