JEB DUNNUCK 91-93 POINTS: "Tasted as a barrel sample, the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape from Nicolas Boiron showed beautifully, with lots of classic black raspberry and jammy berry fruits intermixed with plenty of peppery garrigue, new leather, and dried bouquet garni-like aromas and flavors. It’s certainly a classic style of wine, yet it has beautiful fruit, medium to full-bodied richness, notable purity, and a great finish. A no-brainer for the classic Châteauneuf du Pape lovers out there, it’s going to drink well on release and shine for 15 years or more."
