100% Nebbiolo

A freshly-toned, crunchy red, more so than many other Nebbiolos from the Langhe region. Woodsy citrus and spice tinge the crisp red berry notes that drive this highly-drinkable expression. Great for aperitivo.

JAMES SUCKLING 93 POINTS - "Spicy, crunchy style with graphite aromas. Light-bodied, it displays an incredible orange flavor on the palate with crisp acidity and woven tannins. A wine to try. Drink now." - Aldo Fiordelli

"The Boroli estate was founded in 1997, and is now run by Achille Boroli, scion of a family originally from northern Piedmont. In 2024 Achille started working with the consulting winemaker Cristiano Garella, an enormously talented enologist.

The fruit for this delicious everyday Nebbiolo is harvested in the estate vineyards that are north-facing, and from vines that are younger, mainly in the Villero and Bric del Fiasc vineyards. (The wine is named after the earliest recorded date of farming here.) Aroma of berries, spices, with a faint note of violet. Palate is consistent, very drinkable texture, lovely open attractive flavors, irresistibly drinkable." - Oliver McCrum, Importer
