The 2023 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru La Cardeuse (Rouge) is superb, soaring from the glass with aromas of rose petal, orange rind, grilled game, sweet wild berries and rich soil. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and succulent, with sappy acids and a long finish.
