Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Muller-Thurgau make for this delightful, dry, elegant and lighthearted wine. Grapes are mash-fermented in a combination of wood and stainless steel to create Cuvée Weiss. Aged in a used barrel on its lees for 10 months, then bottled without fining or filtering. Riesling’s natural lift and orchard fruit give structure and backbone, while Pinot Blanc offers zesty fruits and plenty of tactile grip that reveals even more rich texture. Bastian Beny is a small biodynamic winery located in Rheinhessen, Germany. In 2020, they took over the family winery along with their purpose: to recultivate the soil and build up humus. They work with biodiverse greening, several preparations & ferments and our sheep. In the cellar their approach is also minimalistic. They ferment everything spontaneously and bottle the wines after a longer time on the lees. Bastian Beny’s wines are lively and often a bit cloudy and always joyful.
