Both rums were custom blended by Maggie and her team and represent the beginning of what might be the most exciting new chapter in the modern American Rum industry. Banter Amber is a quietly rich, textural blend of pot-and-column rums consisting of Jamaican, Trinidadian, Guatemalan and Dominican molasses and cane juice rums aged up to four years. The nose brings pecan, baking spice, and singed grapefruit; the palate follows with macadamia, citrus, honey, and pineapple marmalade, lifted by tangy lime zest. It finishes long with mango, toasted cinnamon, and warm depth. Zero tricks, just tasty and classic.
