This family winery was founded in 1839, and the traditional farming and winemaking continues today! This bottling comes from the town of Benais in the Bourgueil wine appellation. The vines of the Clos Senechal, with an average age of 55 years, are growing on the middle section of a south-facing slope for prime warmth in the cool Loire Valley. "The wines of Clos Sénéchal come from the deepest limestone soils of Benais, which gives them remarkable complexity.
