JASPER MORRIS 92 - 95 POINTS - "The Très Vieilles Vignes cuvée is made from 80-120 year old vines in En Champs, Combes and Aux Echezeaux. 50% has been vinified in pedicel fashion, and 20% has been aged in new wood. A beautiful mid purple. Serene fruit on the nose, with intensity without heaviness. A certain sweetness to the middle of the palate without clumsy sucrosity, and a really fine texture, with tannins entirely hidden within."
