ARDNAMURCHAN AD/ PEATED SAUTERNES CASK 50% 700ML HIGHLAND SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

Ardnamurchan has once again shown its flair for combining bold peat with inventive cask work. This limited 2025 release sees peated spirit initially matured for three years in ex-bourbon casks before spending a further three and a half years in Sauternes barriques. Bottled at 50% ABV, un-chill filtered and natural colour, it delivers decadence and balance in equal measure. Tasting Note Nose Pineapple upside-down cake and crème de pêche roll in, balanced by toasted coconut and buttery shortbread. Palate Nutmeg, dried ginger and orange blossom. Earthy peat smoke and hickory wood. Finish Long, spicy and punchy, with layers of citrus brightness and smoky depth.
