JAMES SUCKLING 96 POINTS - "A spicy, complex carmenere showing a brooding depth of dark cherries, blackberries, grilled stemmy herbs, cigar leaves and spices. Full-bodied, concentrated and extremely flavorful yet still fresh, with a deep set of dark fruit, Mexican chocolate and spices. Really long and mealy finish that lasts almost a minute. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold." - Zekun Shuai Senior Editor

50% Lolol Valley estate: clay, sandy-clay and silty-clay soils. Age of the vines: 18 years.
50% Apalta, Valle de Colchagua: this portion comes from a leased small 2 hectares (5 acre) plot of old vine Carmenere in granitic soils on the mountain of Apalta.
The vines are managed under biodynamic principals.

AROMA: Aromas of black fruit, blackberries, blackcurrants, and plums blend with blond tobacco, chocolate, and coffee. Spicy notes of black pepper, fennel, and herbs like bay leaf evoke the varietal character. Hints of ink, pepper, and a touch of glazed blackberry complete the nose.
FLAVOR: Ample on the palate, with present yet silky tannins. Rich and dense on the midpalate, supported by a generous aromatic complexity. Medium acidity accompanies the long, flavorful finish.
