JEB DUNNUCK 96 POINTS - "The 2019 Champoux Vineyard checks in as a mix of 54% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Petite Verdot, aged 23 months in 30% new French oak. Its deep purple hue is followed by a gorgeous bouquet of pure cassis and dark cherry fruits as well as spring flowers, spicy oak, and chocolaty herbs. Rich, fleshy, opulent, and full-bodied on the palate, with its Merlot component front and center, it's going to deliver loads of pleasure over the coming 15 years or more."

ANTONIO GALLONI'S VINOUS MEDIA 94 POINTS - "The 2019 Red Wine Champoux Vineyard is dark and brooding, with an understated bouquet that blends violet florals and lavender with citrus-tinged blackberries. Cool-toned and racy in style, the Champoux excites the palate with peppery red fruits that coast across a core of brisk acidity, while a saline mineral shade adds lovely depth. The 2019 tapers off long and staining, leaving a tart blackberry and licorice tinge over a bed of fine-grained tannins."

ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 94 POINTS - "Rich and round, the 2019 Champoux Vineyard begins with blackberry skin, dusty red plum and cardamom madeleines with a dusty essence to the nose. Medium to full-bodied, the wine has a firm tannic backbone and succulent acidity with flavors of plum preserves and black cherry across the mid-palate. The delightfully layered and complex wine ends with an oaky, vanilla-tinged, lingering and persistent finish. Set to be released in 2024, this is a stunning wine that will age for two decades or more and will reward those who cellar."
