A single cask Glenlossie from Adelphi Selection, chosen under the discerning eye of whisky historian Charles MacLean. Distilled in 2013 at the Speyside distillery better known for supplying blends (and its Mannochmore twin), matured for 10 years in a refill sherry butt (Cask No. 5304), and bottled at 59.0% cask strength in an outturn of just 467 bottles — non chill-filtered with natural color. Glenlossie's clean, grassy spirit gains quiet depth from the sherry oak: juicy clementine and lilac florals over sweetened cream and tropical fruit, with banana cream pie, mint, and gentle oak spice on the palate, finishing long and softly spiced. A rare, well-priced single cask of a true "blenders' secret."
