To realize the complexity that defines the finest Cabernet Sauvignons, the Adamvs estate is a mosaic of five vineyard sites, ranging in elevation from 1,500 to 2,000 feet. Of their 28-planted acres, 25 are Cabernet Sauvignon, with nine hand-selected clones spread out over an array of exposures and elevations. Legendary viticulturist Michael Wolf stewards every vineyard block to accentuate its strengths. Though they embrace innovation, we also believe that there is no substitute for experience and the human touch. Farmed with integrity and passion, every one of their Organic and Biodynamic certified vines is hand-tended by their vineyard team a minimum of seven times a season.
JEB DUNNUCK 96 POINTS - "The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon TERES is all Cabernet Sauvignon and comes mostly from the younger vines of the estate and was aged in 50% new French oak. It has a wonderful nose of pure cassis and blue fruits as well as some subtle graphite, chocolate, and textbook Howell Mountain black olive and iron. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it's pure, has a terrific sense of elegance, fine tannins, and a great finish. There are roughly 800 cases produced."
ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 93 POINTS - "The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Tères is meant to be a more approachable bottling, made with a high proportion of young vines. It's 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and sees half new French oak and half second-use barrels. It's gently herbal, with hints of bay leaf accenting cherries and blueberries on the nose, while the palate is full-bodied, framed by soft tannins and mouthwatering acids."
