JEB DUNNUCK 93 POINTS - "Blackberries, pepper, violets, and bouquet garni notes define the 2022 Petite Sirah, with some gamey nuances developing with air. Based on 84% Petite Sirah and 16% Syrah aged 22 months in 50% new French oak, it's a big, mouth-filling, ripe, yet still balanced and lively Petite Sirah that has integrated tannins and acidity, with outstanding length. Give it a year or two and drink over the following decade. Drink 2026-2035."

ANTONIO GALLONI'S VINOUS MEDIA 92+ POINTS - "The 2022 Petite Sirah opens with a dark, brooding and backward mix of wet stones and blackberries, complemented by the slightest hint of lavender. It splashes across the palate with ease, displaying red and black fruits driven by vibrant acidity as a bitter bite of dark chocolate embellishes the close. The finish is long and youthfully tannic, with a floral resonance and nuances of spice. While quite reserved today, I expect the 2022 to blossom beautifully over the coming years."
