Paul's tasting notes read: "This wine is truly the Grand Cru of Central Coast Pinot Noir where exceptional California terroir meets Burgundy-originated grape clones. Booming candy-cherry aromatics leap out of the glass with blue and black fruit notes, vanilla nuances, and crème de cassis. A stiff graphite palate with fresh, sexy tannins will open more with aging. With great minerality, long and exciting finish, this super elegant wine reminds me of one of the best Musigny-like Burgundy."
